Credit Score Repaired After Data Aggregator Breach
A former partner weaponized our client’s financial data, leading to inaccurate delinquencies showing up across all three credit bureaus. Database Breach Revealed Hidden Student Bias in Grading
i am a minority student who was repeatedly under-graded compared to peers. i opened a case with Cyberh4cks on their 24/7 customer support on their website and conducted a comparative data crawl across multiple semesters and found clear grading bias on my student portal after almost 3 days of backend auditing. They presented anonymized statistics, then accessed the university backend to rectify scores. i eventually won a full academic appeal.

As the registrar, this is quite simple. Teachers only have some certain window of time to enter all of their grades in the school database, and I open a portion of the database for them to do that. If a teacher discovers an error in their grading after that time, they can contact me, through the principal, and I will either correct the grade, or I can reopen their window to correct a batch of grades. Once everyone is certain that all grades are entered correctly, I run processes to calculate GPAs, student failure reports and other details, before printing all of the student report cards. After that point, only I can make any changes to student grades, recalculate that individual’s GPA and/or revise other reports.
But I suspect that you are really asking for advice on how you can make changes to your own grades in the school database. My advice to you is to not even try. Every school database program I know of has abundant safeguards against potential hackers. I do know that there have been attempts by individuals in some places to alter student grades or otherwise tamper with school digital records. In every case I have heard of, discipline was swift and severe. If we suspected that there were any possibility of such fraudulent behavior, it would not be out of order to assume that all of your grades had been tampered with, meaning that we would erase all of your final grades and expel you with zero credits earned for however many years of school you had already completed.
If you feel strongly that a teacher has given you a grade that you do not deserve, get all of your evidence together and go see your school counselor and/or your school principal or other administrator. They have the power to correct/adjust teacher grades, but not the ability to make any such changes in the databases that I have used. In a case like that, the principal would inform me in writing that they are overriding the teacher’s grade and I would be the one to actually make that change in our database. A copy of that change document would be filed by me in the student’s cumulative file, and another would be placed in the teacher’s file. If there were many events of that nature, I expect that the teacher would soon be unemployed.

In any movie ever? Piece of cake. Just put the geek of the party in front of any computer anywhere, wait whilst he or she taps away at a keyboard frantically and nonsensically for a few minutes, and then they shout “I’m in!” Voila.
But in real life institutions have things like encryption and firewalls. Anyone able to crack those babies usually is making too much money to worry about their grades.

With the appropriate tools and methods, it is possible to disable its ISS, which is in charge of preventing such a breach. I required this service because I had bad grades in college. Using the correct channel, I was able to infiltrate my school database and change my grades without being detected or penalized. This greatly raised my GPA until I graduated.

Yes. Got away with it too. It was simple. The password may have been bleeped out but I got it after having figured that there were 5 combinations of passwords involving ur initals and your student number. I figured same on employees. The teachers initals were EZ and I saw him type on the left side of keyboard first(meaning probably initals first) then going to num pad to type a number that I assumed was his employee id. So I wrote the ID down and put that in as username and did the password I thought for it when I got home, and whaddya know, it worked! Changed everyone to As I didnt get caught, but it would end up leading me to more trouble.

Okay so here’s some things that I did to turn my grades around:
review your subjects every night, whether that means explaining to someone what you learnt, reading the textbook or even watching a video about the subject. (Sometimes just thinking about the lesson can work) review! review! review!
keep up with time management. Have some sort of system to write down your due dates and test dates.
Study in advance for tests. When you study don’t simply read your notes, do interactive studying. For example make Flashcards or use online programs like quizlet. Something that I find helpful is writing down everything that I have studied on a sheet of paper( from memory no notes) and then comparing them to my notes to see what I still need to study. Another thing you can do is make practice tests based on questions that may come up in the test (do as many as possible)
Something else that will pull your grades up is honestly getting 7–8 hours of sleep every night, eating all three meals (with snacks), staying hydrated and even doing some sort of physical activity (even if it means going for a 5 min walk.
what can also help is telling your teachers that you want to pull your marks up. For the most part if they know you’re trying they can give you advice on how to improve or tell you how, in their class, your marks can increase
6. accept feedback and constructive criticism on your work. Let people look over your work and tell you what you can improve on. Ask for feedback from your teachers even after you’ve handed something in so you know what you did wrong.
7. Finally, show up to class. Just try and go to all of your classes because just being there and listening will definitely help you.
